Considering Chelation Therapy? - 10 Point
Checklist
REVIEW THIS 10 POINT CHECK LIST FIRST
1. Ask the Doctor specifically how
many patients he has treated with your specific
disorder and ask for references of these patients.
Doctor Ahner has treated thousands of patients
with virtually every aspect of vascular disease. He
has many patients who are willing to discuss their
remarkable results with chelation therapy.
2. Ask the Doctor what chelating
agent he is using- magnesium EDTA is the only
chelating agent approved by the American Board of
Chelation Therapy for the treatment of vascular
disease. What goes in the intravenous solution DOES
make a difference.
Doctor Ahner follows the protocols set down by the
American Board of Chelation Therapy and the American
College for Advancement in Medicine. Doctor Ahner is
dedicated to providing the safest, most effective
treatment available based on his ongoing research
with the use of magnesium EDTA.
3. Ask the Doctor the length of his
treatments and how often they are administered.
Three to Three and one half hour treatments are
recommended protocol by the American College for
Advancement in Medicine and by the American Board of
Chelation Therapy. Treatments less than three hours
must be calibrated properly for safety. There is
laboratory evidence that short chelation treatments
are less effective. Treatments give on a
too-frequent schedule may cause problems.
Doctor Ahner gives only three to three and one-half
hour treatments, which is recommended protocol by
the American College for Advancement of medicine and
the American Board of Chelation Therapy.
Doctor Ahner and his research have shown that
shorter treatments are less effective and must be
specifically calibrated for safety. Doctor Ahner's
experience give him the ability to make treatment
plans that effectively handle all situations that
may occur.
4. Ask the Doctor exactly how he
will determine your dosage so that you will have
maximal kidney protection, and how he will follow
the treatments to ensure continued safety.
Doctor Ahner is a leader in testing patients with
chelation therapy. Testing is done before chelation
and frequently during the chelation treatments to
monitor the progress and complete safety of the
treatment.
5. Ask the Doctor how he will
analyze your mineral balance and provide you, with
the essential supplements you will require during
your chelation treatments and follow up after you
are on maintenance.
Doctor Ahner does both blood and urine mineral
testing so that maximal effect can be obtained both
with ridding the body of heavy metals ( such as
lead, mercury, arsenic etc.) and improving the
mineral balance of essential minerals (such as zinc,
copper, magnesium, etc.). Doctor Ahner believes that
only through a complete analysis can maximum results
be obtained and maintained.
6. Choose a Doctor that has
training, years of experience, involved in ongoing
research and has chelated difficult vascular
problems such as gangrene etc.
